Welcome To Little Techs!
“Bringing a world of opportunities right to your child’s fingertips”
Little Techs
What Exactly is Little Techs?
Little Techs is a fun, innovative, educational program for our little learners. Every student in the Little Techs program will be provided his/her own iPad and class sizes never contain more than eight students. Each weekly class is thirty minutes in length and is based on the given educational theme for that week. For example, one week may be Alphabet/Phonetic Knowledge (associating ABC’s to correct sounds); another week might focus on Early Math Skills (like addition, subtraction, sorting, and sequencing).
Little Techs believes in the “I do, We do, You do” philosophy of teaching. With that said, I am there every step of the way to model the various activities that are presented in each lesson. The small group atmosphere allows me to offer scaffolding (assistance) to each student as necessary.
At Little Techs, your little ones are not only having fun- they are learning at the same time! Little Techs is a “win win” situation for both parents and kids. Parents are giving their children an enriched, educational afterschool activity, while kids are having a blast!
Why Should Your Child Be a Little Tech?
Did You Know?
Kindergartners are assessed at the beginning of the school year and with their knowledge base, students are categorized and placed into “groups” according to their academic levels. Little Techs graduates will enter kindergarten knowing everything they need to be successful students. They will be assessed at the beginning of the kindergarten school year, and with their extensive knowledge base, our students will be placed in enriched programs that will follow them for the rest of their lives!

Most schools across the country use Apple computers and software. Many state legislators are pulling for the exclusive use of iPads in public schools. Some school districts have already implemented the use of iPads in lieu of textbooks. Click here for two such examples:
